Producer Notes
The 300-year-old estate, home to some of world's finest Port, is located high up in the Duoro region of Oporto, Portugal. Relatives of the estate's original owners still control the vineyards today. In the 17th century British traders began purchasing Portuguese wines with lower duties than those of France or Germany. The traders added Brandy to stabilize the wine and thus, Port was born....
