We opened this and let it sit for 4 and a half hours before drinking. I tasted it a couple of times along the way. The wine evolved into a complex and fruity delight to the sense. we paired this with our cheese course, following a 2000 Marcassin.

Subdued nose followed by with pencil lead and cedar on the palate. Tannis are still very firm and after two hours of air the fruit was still not expressive . This will need several more years to fully evolve.
