Ruby in color. Low rim variation. Slow legs. Mineral, Smokey, Black currant (cassis). Blackberry. Full bodied. Medium/Full bodied. Smooth texture. Long finish. This is a terrific wine but young. The 79 is currently drinking better, but this will be gorgeous in 5 years
