Producer Notes
Château Cheval Blanc, a 1er Grand Cru Classé (A), is the most renowned and sought-after producer in the St. Emilion appellation of Bordeaux. The estate's 37 hectares yield primarily Cabernet Franc and Merlot, with small percentages of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. Medium bodied with very slight bricking at the edges - this is still an elegant wine with minerals, casis and mocha flavors. Somewhat short finish. It is a very good but not great Cheval Blanc.
