Château Cheval Blanc, a 1er Grand Cru Classé (A), is the most renowned and sought-after producer in the St. Emilion appellation of Bordeaux. The estate's 37 hectares yield primarily Cabernet Franc and Merlot, with small percentages of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. Best bottle yet. Lovely nose; rich, concentrated fruit; tannins have softened and are fully integrated now; very classy & elegant wine; long complex finish; An excellent Bordeaux but needs a bit more grip to be truly great, but very, very good. Ready but will hold.
