Château Cheval Blanc, a 1er Grand Cru Classé (A), is the most renowned and sought-after producer in the St. Emilion appellation of Bordeaux. The estate's 37 hectares yield primarily Cabernet Franc and Merlot, with small percentages of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. Pefectly aged cheval blanc still showing great fruit and the potential to age another 5 years. The '86 was dark, with minor amounts of brown around the rim. The dark cherry and cocoa flavors were followed by light oak, leather, and mineral notes. This was smooth as silk as the tannins were well recessed and each sip left you wanting more. Drink Now!
