Seamless and balanced. Decanted 1 1/2 hours. Coats the palate with it's pure balance giving you depth throughout. However, the finish was lacking for me and a little disappointing. Definite herbaceous notes growing as it sat in glass. After 2 full hours, it started wobbling although it could have been the result of a tired palate. Still a very impressive Napa Cabernet. Would like to try some of the younger vintages.

red rasberry on the nose. firm ripe tannins still showing a lot of youth. wouldn't have guessed 14 years old. delicious

Drank at Thanksgiving. Not as Good as I remember as the decadence of fruit is slowly fading and the alcohol is more apparent. When last tasted 4 years ago I thought it was the best california cabernet I had ever tasted. I was more critical than everyone else at the table.
