Tips on Searching

Our search engine works like many common search engines, such as Google. It will try to match the text you enter to the beginning of every word in a wine name.
“Anc” will match “Ancien - Chardonnay” but not “Franc-Mayne”

It will also ignore common words and punctuation including Capitalization, - (hyphens), Ch, Chateau, Le, L', La, d', Maison

There are tens of thousands of wines in our database, so please try to be specific when searching all wine. To enhance performance of the site we limit results to the best 200 results.

Entering year in your search

The year field can handle multiple formats to accommodate various needs:

  • For individual years, separate with commas: 1982, 1986, 2003
  • For ranges, use a hyphen: 1960-1969
  • For non-vintage or multiple-vintage, use NV

Entering wine name and/or producer

We require a minimum of three characters for a search. This can include two letters separated by space. For example:

  • “P M” for “Pride Mountain” and “Foss Marai - Prosecco di Valdobbiadene”
  • “Pri” for “Pride Mountain” and “Banfi - Gavi Principessa”
