What is RSS?
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication".
It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people.
Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online.
For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.
To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader.
Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. You log on to the aggregator and see the updates to your favorite sites, blogs and stores, all in one place.

How to get started with RSS
To take advantage of RSS, you need an aggregator. The easiest aggregators are web-based like bloglines or MyYahoo. Each service allows you to add the feeds you want by inputting the URL of the site. For information about more advanced PC-based aggregators, click here.

How to use Vinfolio RSS feeds
We understand that while some wine appeals to everyone, you may only want to know about wine from a particular region, label or year. Vinfolio designed its RSS feeds so you can receive updates to your specifications. Use the pre-selected RSS selections on the left or customized based on a feed for any search from the Wine store. Simply click on "Subscribe to this feed" in the upper right hand corner from any page and choose your aggregator to set up the feed.
When Vinfolio updates feeds
Vinfolio updates its inventory on a daily basis. Depending on the RSS feeds you set up, you may receive several RSS updates daily. As inventory is often limited, we encourage you to call or order online quickly to ensure your desired request.
