RSS stands for “Really Simple Syndication”. It is a way to easily distribute a list of headlines, update notices, and sometimes inventory changes to a wide number of people. Think of it as a one-stop shop for all the stuff you want to read online. For the consumer, an aggregator or reader, either web-based or installed on your computer, ties it all together.
To make use of this information, you have to download and install an RSS feed reader like SharpReader. Every so often, the aggregator checks the RSS feeds you selected. Vinfolio designed its RSS feeds so you can receive updates to your specifications. Use the pre-selected RSS selections on the left or customized based on a feed for any search from the Wine store. Simply click on “Subscribe to this feed” in the upper right hand corner from any page and choose your aggregator to set up the feed.
When does Vinfolio update feeds?
- Vinfolio updates its inventory on a daily basis. Depending on the RSS feeds you set up, you may receive several RSS updates daily. As inventory is often limited, we encourage you to call or order online quickly to ensure your desired request.
